Fitchburg Aerated Grit Removal System - Fitchburg, MA
Methuen Construction was the General Contractor for the installation of an aerated grit removal system at the Fitchburg, MA East Wastewater Treatment Plant., The new facility will handle gravity fed flows up to 50 million gallons per day. As the General Contractor for the upgrade and expansion, Methuen Construction was required to temporarily relocate all daily processing functions to be able to build the new structure with no disruptions to existing operations. This effort was accomplished without flaw and allowed the site and concrete work, self-performed by Methuen Construction, to begin.
